I am very happy to read that you have new blog entries. I was in Grenada with the 82nd, on the other side of the hill while your people were fighting for your lives among other objectives. Much respect.

Dear Steve: You may not remember me, but I met you while living with Sean Bray, Ft. Lewis. Found your site by accident, having become a Buddhist. As you know sometimes things need to be said out loud and/or put into print. Just wanted to tell you how much Sean loved you, looked up to you and most importantly counted you as his best friend. I've laughed, cried and gotten downright mushy reading your blog. As you so aptly put, it was a heady time. Thanks for reminding me that there was a time when a bunch of Rangers lead the way into the hearts of so many civilians. Peace, Alyce Brame-Galyean

Dear Steve; I hope this isn't a duplication - kind of new to this stuff. You may not remember me. I met you while living with Sean Bray while you were at Ft. Lewis. Found this site by accident, having become a Buddhist, the title was too inviting. As you already know sometimes things need to be said out loud and/or put into print. Just wanted to say again how much Sean loved you, admired you and counted you as his best friend. I've laughed, cried and actually gotten mushy reading your blog. They were indeed heady times. I count myself fortunate to have been one of the many civilians who experienced a bunch of special Rangers who lead the way into our hearts. Peace,Alyce
